THE UNIVERSITY OF Central Florida will be coming to Croke Park next September to take on Penn State in the Croke Park Classic but it’ll take something quite special to match the ending of their game with Temple on Saturday night.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Knights were down by a touchdown with less than two minutes to go. Quarterback Blake Bortles lobbed a monster pass towards wide receiver J.J. Worton and the junior pulled in a spectacular one-handed grab that could go down as the catch of the college football season.

Then, with 19 seconds remaining, Bortles again found a receiver, this time Rannell Hall on a 64-yard pass, to set-up Sean Moffitt for the game winning field goal.

The win means UCF remain on course for a place in the Sugar Bowl, the third most prestigious game in college football’s BCS.
